Technique WOD

  • Deadlifts

“Coach J Gone Bad”

You will spend 1 minute at each station for maximum effort/reps with no break in between  ( that’s 5 minutes of work )  then you will get a 1 minute break and repeat 2 more times. Basically this is the same as Fight Gone Bad.

  • Deadlifts  ( 275 lb  /  185 lb )
  • Push Press  ( 115 lb / 75 lb )
  • Double Unders
  • Back Squat  ( 135 lb / 95 lb )

    This was a fun one. All the 545ers did great. I did everything Rx’d except the Push Press(95#) and I did single unders (divided by 3). The deadlifts were pretty heavy for me. I haven’t deadlifted since we did Tillman. My rounds went 72, 71, 72 for a total of 215. This was my 4th WOD this week, I haven’t did this for awhile.

    This was definitely a tough one. Some pretty impressive numbers were put up on the board by Casey (330), Angie (329) and Jim (299) and the rest of the 545-ers. You guys are beasts! I did it as Rx’d and scored 212.

    You’ll get fatigued from the heavy(ish) DL and PP. But the double unders will completely smoke you and make the back squats feel like a ton. Then you’ll just go through the motions on the rower. Round 2 is the worst.

Once i noticed that it was him, i immedeately started looking in his cart like an insane stalker. what was Phil Pfister buying at Kroger’s you ask? Well, multiple large containers of cottage cheese, two dozen eggs, and three gallons of milk.

    This is what the worlds strongest man buys at Kroger.
