MurphMichael Murphy
In memory of Navy Lieutenant Michael Murphy, 29, of Patchogue, N.Y., who was killed in Afghanistan June 28th, 2005.
This workout was one of Mike’s favorites and he’d named it ‘Body Armor.’ From here on it will be referred to as ‘Murph’ in honor of the focused warrior and great American who wanted nothing more in life than to serve this great country and the beautiful people who make it what it is.
  • 1 mile Run
  • 100 Pull-ups
  • 200 Push-ups
  • 300 Squats
  • 1 mile Run

 

Class Times will be:

  • 9:00 am Open / Beginners
  • 10:00 am  Childrens Nutrition Seminar

We will be doing “Murph” on Saturday before we go do the Polar Plunge. If you haven’t signed up yet, there is still time. If you would like to support the Special Olympics but aren’t crazy enought to jump in the cold water in below freezing weather, please bring your checkbooks and sponsor a plunger.

A Fundamentals class will be held at 9:00 AM on Saturdays. It is HIGHLY recommended that anyone that hasn’t been CrossFitting for at least 4 months attend this class. You can stay for the WOD immediately following if you would like.
